Traffic accident on US-222

Back in October there was a very serious accident on a highway that runs by my house. If I remember correctly, it involved a car, a truck, and two tractor trailers. It happened in the early morning and one woman lost her life. This section of US-222 is heavily traveled, connecting the Greater Reading Area with the Lehigh Valley.

In particular, this section connects between the Warren Bypass and the Kutztown Bypass and people often ride like they’re still on an expressway. It’s a daily horror show watching people try to pull out on the highway and traffic jams work like clockwork. Talk of upgrading this segment to an expressway has been knocked around, but I doubt it’ll happen for another five years.
